This was probably one my most favorite sessions! It was certainly fun to edit the pics for this family. I just couldn't stop, every picture turned out so cute! And they were all so wonderful to photograph! I was in and out of their house in one hour!

Mom was playing peek-a-boo with her to get her to smile! She wanted to play too!

Umm... model material? Wow.

This group of women were so fun to be with. I loved their idea of all black & white with the only color being the scarves and gloves! How fun!
A little artsy fartsy for me, but it turned out cute!
I love this little ones eyes! She did not to have anything to do with me, but I got her in the end!
It was supposed to be all "girls" but we couldn't pass up bringing in the youngest grandson!

My little one is ONE!

Time certainly does fly when you have kids. My baby is 1 year old! I've very much enjoyed being able to capture this first year!
When I imagined taking these shots, I was hoping she would taste the cake and just not stop eating. Leaving me with lots of opportunity to snap off cute pictures! That did not happen. This little girl does not feed herself. She did touch the cake, but afterwords did not touch it again. She didn't like having the frosting on her hands! I did smash her hand in once, and the only reason she has frosting on her face is because I put it there! Oh well, I still got some great shots!

Thought of the day...

If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to say is, "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to say is, "Probably something you did!"

So... since I take family pictures myself, I find it disturbing to have to pay to have them taken for us. But I can't very well take my own family picture.
